About Jaspal Rana Institute of Education and Technology
Founded in the year 2002, Jaspal Rana Institute of Education and Technology is one among the most reputed colleges in the state of Uttarakhand. The college is affiliated with Uttarakhand Technical University (UTU) and permitted by national Council for Sports Education (N.C.S.E.). The Jaspal Rana Institute of Education and Technology was set up with aims to offer excellent facilities for the development of physical education and sports in the nation and to cater as a model institute for teacher’s training by offering Bachelor Degree programme in Physical Education B.P.Ed.

The institution has well maintained campus building spread across over 20 acres land at Mazhon. It is equipped with all the latest infrastructural amenities for sports and recreation, canteen, Library etc. The campus location is approachable by road. The main block comprises office of principal, Class Room, Staff Room, Science Lab, Psychology Lab, and Computer Lab.

- Bachelor of Physical Education (B.P.E) – three years
Candidate must have passed (10+2) or higher secondary school examination or any equivalent exam organized by any State Board or Equivalent. They must have obtained at least of 40% Aggregate marks with English as a major subject. There is a relaxation of 5% for candidates belonging to SC/ST category.
Bachelor of Physical Education [B.P.Ed] – two years
Candidate must have done B.A., B.Com, or B.Sc with minimum of 45% aggregate marks. There is a relaxation of 5% for candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC category.
