Candidates who are interested to apply for PhD admission at Jain University must hold a Master degree in Economics from a recognized university and secured at least 50%. Apart from these candidates also have one of the following degrees:
- Phil in Economics
- SET in Economics (Jammu and Kashmir)
- UGC JRF/NET in Economics
Candidates who have completed M.Phil in Economics will be given more preference.
