Candidates who wish to appear for the Jammu B.Ed entrance exam can submit their applications online. Steps to fill Jammu B.Ed Application Form 2022

Candidates will be able to apply for Jammu B.Ed entrance exam online. Check out the step by step guidelines for filling and submitting the application form below.

First, go to the official website of BOPEE www.jkbopee.gov.in and scroll down to Online Applications. Click on the B.Ed (Jammu) apply online button. A Common Application Form page will appear on the screen. Read carefully the important instructions before you proceed with the application process.

Step 1: Filling of application form

  • After reading all the instructions, click on the ‘Click here to fill application’ link to open the application form.
  • Into the application provide the basic personal, academic, contact and other details.
  • Candidates should also provide a username and password that will be used for all further logins to the candidates’ dashboard.
  • Once all the details are provided in the application form, the candidates can submit these details online.
  • On successful submission of the details, an application number is generated that should be noted for future reference.

Step 2: Payment of application fee

In the next step, the candidates have to make payment of the prescribed application fee.

  • Photograph must be a recent, colored and passport sized, taken against a light-colored, preferably white, background.
  • Look straight at the camera with a relaxed face and if you have to use flash, ensure there’s no ‘red-eye’.
  • If the picture is taken on a sunny day, have the sun behind you, or place yourself in the shade, so that you are not squinting and there are no harsh shadows
  • If you wear glasses make sure that there are no reflections and your eyes can be clearly seen.
  • Caps, hats and dark glasses are not acceptable. Religious headwear is allowed but it must not cover your face.
  • Signature should be done on a white paper with black ink/ gel pen.
  • Left Thumb Impression should be taken on white paper with blue/ black stamp pad.

Step 4: Print application form

  • Process of application completes after the uploading of documents.
  • The candidates should submit the final application and take a printout of the same for future reference.
  • There is no need to send the application form printout or hard copy of any other document to the board.

After successful submission of application, you can check the status of the same. Follow the steps given below for this.

  • Go to the official website of BOPEE and go to B.Ed Jammu application page.
  • Now click on the ‘Check Application Status’ link at the bottom of this page.
  • On the new page that appears, enter the application number, date of birth and verification code as shown on the screen.
  • Click on the ‘Submit’ button to see the status of your application form on the screen.

Recovering lost application number

In case you lost or forgot your application number, here’s how you can recover the same:

  • Go to the official website of BOPEE and go to B.Ed Jammu application page.
  • Now click on the ‘Forgot Application No.’ link at the bottom of this page.
  • On the new page that appears, enter the examination type (BED-J), name, father’s name, date of birth and verification code as shown on the screen.
  • Click on the ‘Submit’ button to get your application number on the screen.

Things to keep in mind

  • A candidate can fill only one application form. Multiple applications from the same candidate will lead to rejection of candidature.
  • Candidates can edit their submitted application form before the last date of the advertisement.
  • In case of any of the uploaded documents is unclear the candidate’s application may be rejected.
  • Application will be considered complete only when application form is filled, payment is done and relevant documents are uploaded. Incomplete applications will be rejected.
  • Any communications regarding the rejected applications will not be sent to the candidates.
  • Keep scanned copy of photographs, signatures and other relevant documents handy before you fill online application form.

Question 1: Can I take printout of the application form at any later stage?

Answer: Go to the official CAF page, click on the Print Application Form’ button and enter your application number, date of birth and verification code to take printout of the application form. This can be done at any stage after application form submission.

Question 2: Can I submit my application form and other documents via offline mode?

Answer: No. Only online mode is provided by the board for both filling and submission of application form and other documents. Applications and documents submitted through offline mode will be rejected.

Question 3: Do I need to fill the application form in a single sitting?

Answer: No. You can fill your application form in multiple sittings. You just need to remember your application number and date of birth generated after completing the first step of application process.
