Jammu B.Ed Admission 2022

Candidates seeking admission in B.Ed program offered by the colleges in the state of Jammu need to apply for the entrance exam conducted by JKBOPEE. The exam will  be conducted on 17th July 2022. The authority has released the application form for the same on 7th June 2022. Candidates can apply for the B.Ed entrance exam only via online mode. Before proceeding for the application form, they must keep their documents, scanned copy of photograph and signature handy. To fill the form, candidates need to visit the official website of the JKBOPEE. The details in the form will consist of- name, DOB, father’s name, gender, category, academic records, payment details etc. These details in the online form must be carefully entered as once it is submitted, there will be no changes allowed in the information provided by the applicants. Candidates should review the form before making the final submission. They must submit the form on or before the due date prescribed by the authority.

Documents to be uploaded in the form (in PDF format) are-

• Permanent resident certificate
• Qualifying marks certificate
• Category certificate, if applicable
• DOB proof

Note: The size of the documents should lie between 100 KB and 200 KB and candidates need to self-attest these documents.

Application fee: Applicants need to pay Rs. 1000/- towards the application fee for the entrance exam.

Mode of Payment: The application fee can be paid via credit card/debit card/net banking.

The exam pattern for Jammu B.Ed admission 2022 is as follows-

Eligibility criteria for B.Ed admission in Jammu

Applicants must fulfill the eligibility requirement set by the authority for the entrance exam. The eligibility criteria for Jammu B.Ed admission are as follows-

Nationality: Only Indian Nationals can apply for the Jammu B.Ed entrance test.

Domicile: Candidates should be a permanent resident of J&K state.

Qualifying examination: Candidates should have done B.A/B.Sc/B.Com/BCA/BBA from a recognized University or its equivalent exam under the statutes of University of Jammu awarding the degree of B.Ed degree. Those appearing/appeared in qualifying exam can also apply for the exam but they must have passed the qualifying exam at the time of admission.

Percentage required: Minimum 45% aggregate marks are required in open merit category and 40% marks required from the candidates belonging to the reserved category.

Admit Card

The authority will issue the admit card to the candidates who have applied for the B.Ed admission in Jammu only via online mode. Candidates need to download the admit card for the exam by visiting the official website of the JKBOPEE. The e-admit card will include the details bearing the name of the candidates, time, venue, schedule of the exam among other things. There will a space in the admit card where the candidates must paste their latest passport size photograph. The admit card must be attested by a gazetted officer. Without the admit card, candidates won’t be permitted to appear for the entrance exam.

Result and selection

Candidates can check their result Jammu B.Ed admission 2019 by visiting the official website of the JKBOPEE i.e. www.jkbopee.gov.in. The authority will also publish the merit list of the candidates selected for admission. Candidates will be selected according to their performance in the entrance exam. The shortlisted candidates then need to submit their original documents to the BOPEE office, Jammu and Kashmir within the 7 days of the announcement of the result. If the information provided by the candidate appears to be misleading during verification, then such candidates won’t be given admission.
