Eligibility Criteria for Jadavpur University B.Ed Admission 2019
The age limit for fresher candidates is 35 years as on the date of exam. For deputed applicants, there is no age limit.
The applicants who hold undergraduate or postgraduate degree from any recognized University can appear for Jadavpur University B.Ed Admission 2019.
Minimum mark obtained for different category candidates is given as:

Only those teachers who are teaching in class IX, X, XI and XII are eligible under Deputed category.
The candidates who have appeared in M.A/ M.Sc 4th semester exam in 2019 with a minimum of 40% marks in each course and at least 50% aggregate marks (40% for SC/ ST and 45% for PD) 1st, 2nd and 3rd semester examinations are also eligible.
Note: The SC/ ST candidates who do not belong to the state of West Bengal will be treated as General category candidates. However, if they have domicile certificate of 10 years residency in West Bengal, they may enjoy the benefit.
The application form for Jadavpur University B.Ed Admission 2019 can be obtained from the official website of the University. The candidates who fulfill the eligibility criteria can fill their form online. The applicants will be required to provide their personal and qualification details in the application form. Fresher candidates will be selected in order of merit calculated on the basis of the following score:

Selection of teachers under Deputed category will be made on the basis of number of years of uninterrupted approved service in Government or Government aided schools calculated as on the date of the exam.
For candidates who have appeared in M.A/ M.Sc 4th semester exam in 2019, the percentage of marks obtained in the aggregate of 1st, 2nd and 3rd semesters examinations will be considered for preparing the merit list.
The applicants who have passed the qualifying exam through distance learning mode will have to appear for a written test to be eligible for admission.
The candidates considered under the deputed category needs to produce a copy of the appointment letter from the District Inspector of Schools and a No Objection Certificate from the Managing Committee of the school duly countersigned by the District Inspector of Schools at the time of interview and admission.
