About Islamic University of Science and Technology
Islamic University of Science and Technology, which has been established as the Center for Higher Education for the people of Jammu and Kashmir State and its neighbouring areas, is a government university located in Avantipora, Pulwama, Jammu and Kashmir. The University of Islamic Science and Technology is accredited by the UGC and AICTE and it is a member of AIU as well.
The University offers various UG, PG and doctorate level courses in science and technology, Humanities and Social Sciences. Candidates need to apply for admission to the university through the application cum admission form. The prime aim of the university is to nurture the overall growth of the candidates by strong career development, skill and leadership abilities.
University’s Campus
Islamic University is located at Awantipora which is 28 km far from the Srinagar city which is the state capital of Jammu and Kashmir. In the almond grove surrounded by the campus, there is a river on the one side of the university campus and Jhelum River flowing on the other side.
Courses Offered by the Islamic University of Science and Technology
The University offers academic programmes at the undergraduate level leading to BE/BTech degree, at the postgraduate level leading to MCA, MSc, MBA, ME/MTech degrees, and at the doctoral level, PhD and DSc. Degrees.

Candidates will be provided admission in the desired programme on the basis of their performance in the Entrance Test and the Qualifying examination.
