ISI M.Tech Admission Test 2021- All aspirants seeking admission to M.Tech programme offered by ISI Kolkata they will be considered for admission according to their performance in ISI exam 2021. Candidates having valid GATE score will be permitted for direct admission. In such case they need to appear for a personal interview.
ISI Admission Test 2021 Eligibility Criteria
Eligibility Criteria for M.Tech in Computer Science
Have Master’s degree in Statistics/ Mathematics/ Physics/ Computer Science/ Electronic Science/ Computer Applications/ Information Technology Or,
Have Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Technology or any other similar qualification for example GRAD-IETE or, AMIE or, DOEACC ‘B’ Level.
Eligibility Criteria for M.Tech in Quality, Reliability and Operations Research
Candidates who have studied Chemistry and Physics at Higher Secondary level and Mathematics at graduate level are only permitted to apply for the test.

How to Apply?
- Candidates need to complete the registration formalities first to get login credentials.
- Now go to your login page by using the same login credentials and fill up your academic, personal details and upload photograph and signature in the specified format.
- Now submit your application to generate e-challan. You can make payment through e-challan after two days from submission of application form. Offline payment can be done at any SBI branch. Candidates interested to make payment in online mode also need to wait for 2 days after registration.
- Also preserve a copy of e-challan for future reference.
Application Fee and Mode of Payment
Application fee – Rs.600/- (Rs.300/- for SC/ST category applicants)
The amount is payable either through SBI e-challan or credit card/debit card/ Net banking.
Exam Pattern
The test will consist of two major parts i.e. Part 1 and Part 2.
Part 1
- This is an essential part for all aspirants.
- It consists of multiple choice questions and there may be a descriptive test in Mathematics (undergraduate level).
Part 2
This section will include multiple choice questions and/or descriptive test.
Test Contents for M.Tech (Computer Science)
- The test will have five sections among which candidates need to attempt one section.
- Tech level questions will be asked in the test.
Test Contents of M.Tech (Quality, Reliability and Operations Research)
- Questions are involved in the test from Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Engineering Mechanics, Engineering Drawing and Thermodynamics.
- Candidates can answer questions from two or more sections according to their choice.
ISI M.Tech Admission 2021 Admit Card
Admit card of successfully registered M.Tech aspirants will be hosted at its official website from April, 2021 onward. Don’t worry, you’ll be notified regarding admit card availability. For downloading your admit card you must need to log-in at the official portal.
Result
It is most expected that result of ISI M.Tech admission test will be published in the month of June, 2021. Qualified candidates need to check details of counselling and attend the same on scheduled date and time.
Counselling Procedure
Candidates who are shortlisted after publication of the result will have to attend the counselling procedure in person. During counselling they will be asked to submit their original documents for verification propose. Allotment of seats will be done according to candidates GATE score and marks achieved by them in ISI admission test.
