About IERT Allahabad
Institute of Engineering and Rural Technology is an institute which offers various courses in the different disciplines of engineering and rural technology. Admissions will be provided on the basis of the merit of the student in the State Entrance Exam (SEE) conducted by A P J Abdul Kalam University Lucknow, UP. This institute is one of the oldest and leading engineering institutes of India. It is also one of the institutes which started offering the Polytechnic courses firstly.
IERT Allahabad Campus details
The IERT campus is located at Allahabad in the state of Uttar Pradesh. The hostel facility has been provided along with the spacious dining halls. The campus has been equipped with the latest computers, software, and app development tools.
The campus of Institute of Engineering and Rural Technology, Allahabad, is spread in the area over 26.5 acres (107,000 m2) of land. The institute has separate hostel and mess facilities for boys and girls along with the 24-hour electric facility.

Admission Process
- The institute provides admission to the candidates in the engineering courses through the state-level State Entrance Exam’ conducted by the Uttar Pradesh Government.
- IERT Allahabad commences the college level entrance exam for admission into the management, post diploma and others courses.
