About the institute
Established on 14th September 2007 by the Travancore -Cochin Literary, Scientific and Charitable Societies, Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology (IISST) is the government-aided institute and deemed university for the study and research of space science. It is situated at Valiamala, Thiruvananthapuram in the state of Kerala. IISST is the 1st Institution of Asia region providing the education dedicated to the space science with undergraduate, postgraduate and research degrees.
