General objective of setting cutoff is to choose the best lot of students for next stages of admission procedure which involves counseling and seat allotment. The Indian Institute of Technology, Ropar (IIT Ropar), is engineering and technology higher education institute situated in Rupnagar (close to banks of the river Sutlej), Punjab, India.
