Eligibility Criteria

Please go through the eligibility criteria details we are furnishing below, if you are interested for admission to PhD course at IIT Roorkee.

• Interested applications should have completed BArch BE/BTech or its equivalent in the related discipline and acquired 70% marks or 7.0 CGPA on 10 point scale. Or,
• GEN candidates are required to complete Master’s degree in associated discipline with 65% marks or 6.5 CGPA. Besides, candidates should have cleared national level graduate entrance test UGC-NET/ GATE/CSIR-NET or its equivalent.
• There is no need of UGC-NET/ GATE/CSIR-NET score for part-time research candidates.
• Candidates belong to SC/ST category are required to obtain 55% marks or 5.5 CGPA.
