IIT Patna M.Tech Admission 2021: M.Tech session at IIT Patna will be commenced from July 2021 and application process for the same will begin from April 2021 onwards. Interested candidates, who are eligible according to the norms, notified by the admission authority, they need to submit their applications before given deadline.

Eligibility Criteria
Find below the minimum eligibility norms in order to apply for IIT Patna M.Tech admission:
- Candidates belong to all categories having B.E/B.Tech/M.Sc or any equivalent professional degree and GATE score are permitted to apply.
- Candidates who are graduated in Engineering/Technology with a minimum CPI of 8.0 are exempted from GATE score.
- Candidates belong to General/OBC category should have obtained minimum 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA (50% or 6.0 CGPA for SC/ST) in qualifying degree exam.
How to Apply for IIT Patna M.Tech Admission 2021?
- Candidates must ensure that they are fulfilling the required eligibility norms.
- Candidates must submit a separate application if they are applying for more than one programme.
- The application form will be obtainable in online mode from its official admission portal.
- Candidates need to furnish only correct personal, educational and other info in the form.
- They need to upload photographs in JPG format with the file size not more than 500 KB.
- Candidates need to make payment of application fee online and take a printout of the transaction.
- After submission of the form, you need to take a printout of the same.
- Finally send your application form along with required copies of certificates and testimonials in an envelope to “Assistant Registrar (Academic), Indian Institute of Technology Patna, Patliputra Colony, Patna – 800 013, Bihar.

Selection Procedure
Candidates will be selected based on their overall performance in GATE exam and personal interview. Candidates will be shortlisted for personal interview based on their performance in GATE exam.
