The exam is organized for admission to Integrated Ph.D. Programmes offered at Indian Institute of Science and M.Sc. (Two Years), M.Sc.-Ph.D. Dual Degree, M.Sc.-M.Tech., Joint M.Sc.-Ph.D., and other Postgraduate courses at various IITs including Delhi, Bombay, Bhubaneswar, Gandhinagar, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Kharagpur, Indore, Kanpur, Roorkee, Patna, Madras, and Ropar.

Important Highlights of IIT JAM Eligibility Criteria 2024

• Please keep in mind that the authority hasn’t notified any age restriction for appearing in JAM. Any Indian or Foreign nationals are eligible to apply, however; criteria for foreign nationals are different from Indian students.
• Final year aspirants may proceed to apply subject of providing proof of passing before the notified deadline.
• Candidates who have obtained the qualifying exam degree through Distance education mode they need to clear an interview for admission.
• Candidates may apply for one or two exam papers as per their eligibility.
• Aspirants who are admitted through JAM they must have Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline. They should have acquired a minimum 55% marks of its equivalent CGPA in aggregate.
• Proof of eligibility must be submitted by aspirants before the notified deadline.
• There are few programmes for which an interview will be also organized along with entrance.
