IIT Bombay PhD admissions 2023 (Eligibility and Procedure)

Eligibility

IIT Bombay offering admissions to 11 engineering disciplines (Refer to: http://www1.iitb.ac.in/ugprgm.html) Humanities and social sciences. IIT Bombay Exam Pattern 2023

The admission to B.Tech Course in IIT Bombay is provided on the basis of JEE Main exam followed by JEE Advanced. The pattern of these exams is given below.

JEE Main Exam 

  • Mode of examination: Online (Computer-based test)
  • Duration of the examination: 3 hours
  • Number of questions: 90 Questions
  • Type of questions: Objective type MCQs for section 1 & Section 2 contains questions whose answers are to be filled in as a numerical value.
  • Maximum Marks: 300
  • Marking Scheme: Each question will carry 4 marks.
  • Negative Marking: 1 mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer. There will be no negative marking for section B
  • Language of questions: English or Hindi (Candidates from Gujarat, Daman & Diu and Dadra and Nagar Haveli can opt for Gujarati as well)
