Candidates who have desire to get admission into this college can go through the official website of IISc. First read all mentioned instructions before you apply and then go for application procedure. Fill up the IISc application form very carefully and then pay the required application fee. IISc Exam Pattern

The exam patter varies with course to course. We will update the exact exam pattern after release of official notification for the same.  For example, suppose you’d like to get admission into PhD program then you will have to pass in JAM exam.

IISc Admission Process

Details regarding IISc admission process are as follows:

For undergraduate program: Candidates will get selected based on their score in JEE Main and JEE advanced. The minimum marks scored by candidates in JEE Main for different categories are as follows:

For general category candidates: 60%

For OBS: 54%

For SC/ST/PH: 30%

The minimum marks scored by candidates in JEE advanced are as follows:

For general category candidates: 60%

For OBC: 54%

For SC/ST/PH candidates: 30%

For PhD program: Candidates will get selected based on their score in JAM exam.

For ME/M.Tech/M Des program: candidates will be selected based on GATE score.
