IIHM eCHAT 2022 application form has been released now. The will be conducted by the International Institute of Hotel Management (IIHM) for admission into various hotel management related courses such as tourism and hospitality management, hospitality administration, hospitality and tourism studies offered at its campuses. Candidates can apply for the exam by filling the application form available in both offline and online mode.

The exam pattern of IIHM eCHAT test is given below-

• Exam mode: Online (computer-based test)
• Language: English
• Type of questions: Objective type (MCQ based)
• Duration: 1 hour
• Important topics: Aptitude, English, Analytical Reasoning, and General Awareness.

IIHM eCHAT 2022 Application Form

Candidates can purchase the offline application form or apply for the exam via online mode. The offline form can be bought from the campus premises or through the post. The application form must be filled correctly as per the true knowledge and the official records. If the information provided by the candidates is found to be incorrect at any stage, then their candidature will be cancelled by the authority immediately. Students will also need to paste/upload the passport size photograph and signature in the form. Candidates who fill the offline form need to submit it to the IIHM campus personally or through the post.

The details in the form will include – basic details, personal details like name, mobile number, email id, religion, category, address, academic details, etc. Candidates must pay the required application fee for the entrance test failing which their applications will be rejected by the authority.

Application fee: The application fee to be submitted by the candidates is Rs. 600/-. The fee once paid shall not be refunded under any circumstances.

Mode of payment: The application fee can be paid using debit card/credit card/net banking if the students opt for online form and through cash/DD in case they go for offline form.

Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for IIHM eCHAT examination are as follows-

• Nationality: Indian nationals can apply for the exam
• Age Limit: The age of the candidates must exceed 22 years as on 1^st July 2022.
• Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed class 12^th or its equivalent with English as one of the subjects from a recognized board/university. Those who are appearing in class 12^th may also apply for the entrance test.

Admit card

• Candidates will get the admit card for the online test via email or through speed post/courier.
• They must preserve the admit card safe till the admission is over.
• Candidates need to check the details printed on their hall ticket very carefully.
• Candidates must reach the exam venue mentioned in the admit card only.
• It is mandatory for the applicants to bring the admit card at the exam hall or else they won’t be allowed to appear in the test.

Result and Selection

• To check the result of the IIHM eCHAT 2022 exam, candidates will have to navigate to the official website i.e. iihm.ac.in.
• Candidates will be selected for further rounds based on the performance in the exam.
• Those who qualify the online test will be invited for the further round of selection i.e. Group discussion and Personal Interview.
• For GD and PI round, candidates must appear in formal dress and must carry the relevant documents.
• The authority will draw a final merit list of the candidates selected for admission.
• A seat will be allotted to the candidates in one of the campuses based on their merit rank.
