The application form for the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) is now available from 1st October 2022 at the official website of NTA. The candidates of Indian nationality as well as of foreign nationals can submit their application form for taking enrollment in their prestigious institute. The candidates can follow this article in order to know the important details related to the IIFT Application Form 2023 such as the last date of form submission, steps to fill the form and documents needed to be enclosed with the form.

IIFT Application Form filling Steps
The application form will be made available on the official website iiftadmissions.net.in. After clicking on the ‘apply now’ button, the candidates will have to choose their category (General or SC/ ST/ PWD/ OBC-NC or NRI/ Foreign National candidates). The applicants will be asked to submit their basic details in the registration form. As the details are submitted in the form, an application number will be generated automatically. This application number will be communicated to the candidates through mail on the email id submitted during registration. Using the application number generated, the candidates will have to log into their account to complete the further process of application form filling.
After filling the form, the next step will be the submission of the registration fee. The fee payment can be done both online (debit card/ credit card) and offline (demand draft). In case of offline payment, the demand draft should be drawn in favor of INDIAN INSTITUTE OF FOREIGN TRADE, payable at NEW DELHI. The details of the DD will be mentioned in the application form, so the candidates will have to prepare the DD before they fill out the form. The structure of the registration fee is mentioned below:

Next, the applicants will have to upload scanned copies of their photograph and signature. The photograph should be in color with its background in light/white color. Signature should be taken with a black ink pen on a white sheet of paper. Both the images should be in .jpg / .jpeg format and size must not exceed 50 kb. Utmost care must be taken while uploading these documents as uploading of unclear images may lead to cancellation of the application form.
After the complete process of application form filling is complete, a notification about the successful registration will be sent to the registered email id. The applicants are advised to take a printout of the filled-in application form for their own record.
Documents to be attached with the IIFT Application Form
For general category candidates:
When application fee is submitted via the online payment gateway, there is no need to send any document. If the fee payment is done via DD, the printout of the application form along with the original copy of DD needs to be sent.
For SC/ ST/ PWD/ OBC (NCL) category candidates:
The application form print out along with caste certificate and original DD needs to be sent.
For Foreign National/ NRI category candidates:
Such candidates will have to send the filled-in form, copy of latest GMAT score certificate, attested copy of all academic certificate (Class X, XII & Graduation), Copy of Passport, Two letters of recommendation and Original Demand Draft. For Indian candidates living abroad, certificate from the Indian Embassy/ High Commission/ Consulate of that country is also required.
