IIFT 2022: Admit Card, Exam Date, Result

Candidates who seek admission to the MBA (International Business) degree program offered by Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) need to appear for an entrance test. The test will be followed by group discussion and personal interview round. The online application form is going to release on 1st September 2021. IIFT Eligibility Criteria 2022

For Indian national candidates:

  • The candidates should hold a bachelor’s degree of minimum 3 years’ duration in any discipline from a recognized university with minimum 50% marks (45% marks in case of the candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ PWD categories)
  • Candidates appearing for a qualifying examination can also apply subject to submission of proof of requisite qualification before the commencement of classes.
  • There is no age limit for appearing in this examination.

For foreign nationals/ NRI candidates:

  • Applicants with a bachelor’s degree of minimum 3 years’ duration from a recognized university with minimum 50% marks are eligible.
  • Candidates appearing for a qualifying examination can also apply subject to submission of proof of requisite qualification before the commencement of classes.
  • The candidate should have been resident outside India for a period of not less than 18 months as on 31st December 2021 and be outside India during the IIFT examination window.
  • Foreign Nationals need to have a valid passport/ travel document from a country other than India. The Foreign Nationals/ NRI who are present in India at the time of IIFT entrance test are required to take the entrance examination.
  • The candidate should produce Graduate Management Aptitude Test (GMAT) score which should be received by the Institute latest by 15 March 2022. GMAT taken before 1st January 2020 is not valid.

IIFT 2022 Application Form

  • Application form for IIFT 2022 will be made available online on the official website of NTA www.iift.nta.nic.in.
  • Candidates need to fill a registration form first providing basic details like name, email address, phone number, etc.
  • System generated application number will appear on the screen once the registration form is submitted successfully.
  • Using this application number, the candidates can login to their account and start filling the application form.
  • In the form, the candidates will have to provide their rest personal details, academic details and other details.
  • Scanned copies of candidates’ photograph, signature and  category certificate should also be uploaded into the application form.
  • The candidate should provide any four cities of their choice for examination in the application form.
  • Duly filled application form can then be submitted online along with the required application fee.
  • After submission, the candidates should take a printout of the application form and keep it safe for further reference.

Mode of payment:

  • Payment of the fee can be done through online mode using the facility of net banking or via debit card/ credit card or UPI/ PayTM.

Important Documents (Foreign Nationals)

Candidates of foreign nationality & NRI candidates need to submit the following documents along with a printout of the application form:

  • Filled in CV Form
  • Copy of latest GMAT score certificate
  • Attested copy of all academic mark-sheets/ certificates (Class X, XII & Graduation)
  • Copy of all Passport pages having official entries
  • An undertaking that the candidate has not appeared for any MBA entrance examination for the academic year 2022-24 examination such as CAT/ XAT/ IIFT, etc
  • Two letters of recommendation(s), preferably, one of these should be written by a current supervisor or manager and second one from someone who is in a position to evaluate the applicant’s professional performance as well as his/ her managerial and leadership potential (no letter of recommendation should be written by immediate family members, e.g. parents, grandparents, siblings or spouse)
  • Indian nationals who are living, working, studying abroad should produce with application a certificate from the Indian Embassy/ High Commission/ Consulate of the country where the candidate is currently based, stating that the candidate has been resident in that country continuously for a period of not less than 18 months as on 31st December 2021

IIFT 2022 Admit Card

  • The admit card for appearing in the admission test will be released online on the official website of NTA.
  • On the admit card, the details related to the candidates like name, roll number and to the exam like center, schedule, etc will be printed.
  • Candidates should download their admit card and take its printout to the exam center on the exam day.
  • Only those with a valid admit card and an identity proof will be allowed to appear for the admission test.
  • Admit card should be kept safe by the candidates till the complete process of admission is over.

IIFT Answer Key 2022

  • Authority will display answer key for three days on the website www.nta.ac.in & www.ifft.nta.nic.in few days after the conduct of the test.
  • Candidates will be given an opportunity to make a challenge online against the answer key on payment of a fee of Rs. 1000/- per question challenged as processing charges. This fee will be refunded if the challenge is found to be correct.
  • NTA will also display the question paper attempted by the candidate for three days on its website prior to declaration of result.
  • NTA’s decision on the challenges shall be final and the result will be declared on the basis of final answer keys.
  • No representation with regard to answer keys after declaration of result will be entertained.

IIFT 2022 Result

  • Authority will declare the result of the admission test online on its official website of NTA.
  • Using their roll number, date of birth, etc, the candidates will be able to check their result.
  • After the result announcement, the IIFT will conduct further admission process.

IIFT Selection Process 2022

  • On the basis of online test, group discussion, writing skills assessment and interview of the candidates will be conducted by IIFT.
  • The shortlisted candidates will have to report for these rounds as per the schedule communicated to them through IIFT.
  • Candidates who complete these rounds will then have to get their documents verified.
  • Admissions will be final once the documents of the candidates and their eligibility are verified successfully.

IIFT 2022 FAQs

Can I submit more than one application form?

A candidate is allowed to submit only one application form. If a candidate submits more than one application form, the candidature is likely to be cancelled.

What if I found any error in my admit card?

In case of any discrepancy in the particulars of admit card, the candidate should immediately approach the helpline centers between 10.00 am and 5.00 pm.

What items are permitted to the examination center?

Candidates are permitted to bring the following items to the test center:

  • Print copy of Admit Card along with the Declaration/Undertaking thereon, downloaded from NTA website
  • One passport size photograph (same as uploaded on the Online Application Form)
  • Any one of the authorized Govt. Photo IDs (must be original, valid and non-expired)- PAN card/ Driving License/ Voter ID/ Passport/ Aadhaar Card (With photograph)/ Aadhaar Enrolment No/ Ration Card)
  • PWD certificate issued by the Competent Authority, if claiming the relaxation under PWD category
  • Drinking water in a transparent bottle
  • A small bottle of hand sanitizer (50 mg)
  • Face masks and gloves

Can I ask for a change in the exam center allotted to me?

Any request for change of the exam centre provided on the admit card will not be considered under any circumstances. Candidate shall appear at the exam centre on date indicated on their admit card issued by the NTA.

For other queries candidates can give a call on helpline numbers of NTA 0120- 6895200 from 10.00 am to 5.00 pm.
