IIESR exam will be conducted by the Indian Institutes of Science Education and Research (IISER) in the month of July, 2016 and application form for the same will be available from the month of June, 2016. This exam is organized for admission to Integrated BS – MS dual degree programme offered by 6 IISER institute situated across the country. IIESR Important Dates
- Online application form will begin (Via KVPY and JEE Advanced)): 1st week of June to last week to last week of June
- Last date for submission of application form for SCB candidates: First week of July
- Last Date for remitting the payment of fees for KVPY/JEE Advanced Candidates: Last week of June
- Last Date for remitting the payment of fees for SCB Candidates: Fourth week of July
- IISER Exam Date: Will be updated later
- Result of SCB candidates will be announced: Third week of July
IIESR Eligibility Criteria
IIESR eligibility criteria are mentioned below: All candidates must ensure whether their eligibility meets with mentioned criteria:
- Admission to BS –MS degree programme will be done based on the rank of candidates scored in Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY).
Through JEE Advanced Score
Candidates must have secured at least 60% marks in class 12th or senior secondary education.
Through State and Central boards
Candidates must have qualified in the entrance exam.
IIESR Application Form: How to Apply?
It will only possible to obtain the application form in online mode and candidates can fill up the application form from the official website of IISER. Probably, application form will be available to obtain in the month of June, 2016. While filling up the application form, candidates will be asked to enter basic details and upload signature and photograph in the specified format. Final step is remitting the application fee which is Rs. 1500/- and Rs.750 for SC/ST category students.
IIESR Exam Pattern

- All questions will be MCQ type and it will be from Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Math.
- Candidates will get four options among which they need to select the right answer.
- The total number of questions asked is 60.
- There will be negative marking.
- Duration of the exam will be 180 min.
IIESR Result
IIESR result will be declared within very less time after completion of the entrance exam. It will be extremely easy to check the result by entering the roll number and registration id. Seats allocation will be completely on the basis of the rank of candidates scored in the exam.
