Details of the Courses

  1. Post Graduate Diploma in Applied Statistics (PGDAST)
  • The programme focuses to provide awareness and practical training in particular areas of statistics.
  • Through the programme, students can learn about the statistical tools in the analysis of industrial, social and business data.
  • PGDAST provide learners the fundamental knowledge required for statistical applications and familiarizes the real-life problems to the students and encourage them to the use of statistics in Applied Sciences and Industries. 
  1. Post-Graduate Diploma in Environment and Sustainable Development (PGDESD)
  • School of Sciences, IGNOU has developed the programme in collaboration with the South Asia Foundation Learning Initiative (SAFLI), Open University of Sri Lanka(OUSL), Bangladesh Open University(BOU), BR Ambedkar Open University, Andhra Pradesh (BRAOU),and Bangladesh Rural Advancement Committee (BRAC) in order to encourage the mass awareness about Environment and Sustainable Development through education.

3. Post-Graduate Diploma in Analytical Chemistry (PGDAC)

  • Post-Graduate Diploma in Analytical Chemistry (PGDAC) focuses on the improvement of skills of the chemists employed in Industry, Research & Development and National Laboratories.
  • The programme is expedient for all the Science Graduates who aspire to get employment in such labs. 

Eligibility Criteria PG and Advance Diploma programme

Candidates can apply for admission in the IGNOU’s PG and Advance Diploma (School of Sciences) as according to the ways given in the following table:

Programmes’ Fee Details

  • The course fee of the PG Advanced Diploma in Applied Statistics, Analytical Chemistry, Environment and Sustainable Development will be required to be paid at the time of admission.
  • Candidates can pay the course fee through the Demand Draft.
  • The demand draft must be in the favour of IGNOU payable at the city where the Regional Centre is located.

  1. I filled online application form for course of PGDESD and pay the fee 6150.on application form I don’t getting any enrollment no. I am getting a no 202010159362S. Now further next course of action for me
