About Post-Graduate Diploma in Intellectual Property Rights (PGDIPR)

The Programme of Post-Graduate Diploma in Intellectual Property Rights (PGDIPR) was previously run by the School of Sciences. Afterward, it was moved to the School of Law. The PGDIPR course fee is Rs 8,500. The duration of this course ranges from 1 year (min) to 3 years (Maximum). The programme was started with the objective to explain the basic concepts of Intellectual Property Rights and to develop expertise in IPR related issues among the learners.

  • Candidate should be graduated in any discipline.

About Post Graduate Diploma in Criminal Justice (PGDCJ)

Started in July, 2010 by School of law, the Post Graduate Diploma in Criminal Justice (PGDCJ) is mainly designed to cater to the requirements of people who are working in this field and are engrossed in knowing the criminal justice system. The program has a minimum duration of 1 year and a maximum of three years. PGDCJ was launched with the objective to create well-informed citizens and professionals in the field of criminal justice and to promote the competencies of the professionals already working in the same area. The prescribed fee for PGDCJ is Rs. 9,000/-.

Eligibility criteria

  • Any Graduate, or who done graduation in criminology, law, social work and functionaries of Criminal Justice Administration are eligible to apply for admission.
  • There will be no provision of age limit

Application Procedure

Interested candidates, who are eligible, can apply for IGNOU (SOL) PG and advance diploma courses either through the online or offline modes. For online application, candidates have to visit the official website of the IGNOU.  Candidates, who are willing to apply through offline mode, can submit the hard copy of the duly filled application form at the IGNOU centre located in their region. Applicants are advised to fill all the required details correctly in the form. For the successful registration, candidates have to deposit the necessary fee as prescribed in the brochure for the particular programme. Submit the application form on or before the due date.
