IGNOU PGCGI 2022 Admission: IGNOU School of Sciences offers Advance Certificate courses in science at the Post Graduate level. Candidates are required to be a science graduate to be eligible to take admission in the Advanced Certificate courses. Under the PG and Advance Certificate from the School of Sciences, candidates can pursue the ‘Post Graduate Certificate in Geoinformatics’ (PGCGI) through distance learning. - The course has been aimed to offer specifically to the Defence personnel, CBSE school teachers teaching geospatial technology-related course, working professionals with little or no exposure to Geoinformatics graduates interested in developing skills to work with geospatial data.
- The course delivers theoretical knowledge and practical training to the students in the basics of Geoinformatics technologies.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates need to have fulfilled the following set the Indira Gandhi National Open University. Candidates must fulfil to be eligible to apply for admission into the courses offered under the IGNOU PG and Advance Certificate Programmes. Fee Details
- Candidates need to pay the admission fee at the time of the admission.
- The admission fee will be required to be paid via Demand Draft (DD).
- The demand draft (DD) which is drawn must be in the favour of IGNOU and must be payable at the respective Regional Centre of IGNOU.

How to apply for Admission?
- Candidates can apply both ways viz., through the online and offline mode.
- Candidates will be required to fill in the details in the online application form which will be available on the official website of the University.
- Candidates can apply through the offline mode by submitting the application form duly filled at the authorised IGNOU study centre.
- Having paid the admission fee, candidates can start the programme session through the distance learning at the respective IGNOU centre.
