About the Certificate in Motor Cycle Service and Repair (CMSR)
This programme is a collaborative initiative of Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU), the leading Open University in the world and Hero MotoCorp Ltd. (HMCL), towards the capability-based skill development training for the existing motorcycle technicians and educated raw learners of the country. CMSR was came into existence in April 2006 and up till then, more than 10,500 learners have already been trained and certified under this course through its current 43 training centres. The important features of the course include Resource Sharing, Use of ICT, Education-Work Linkage, the fulfillment of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Competency-based Training.
Admission Details
The official admission notification is generally announced in the month of May/June and the date for submission of duly filled-in application forms will be July 1st to September 30 for January session and January 1st to March 31st for July session.
However, candidates are advised to keep checking the official admission notification on IGNOU website for the actual dates related to admission.
