Candidates can apply for admission to pursue Master of Arts (Hindi) (MHD) or Master of Arts (English) (MEG) from IGNOU SOH.

Details of the courses

• Master of Arts (Hindi) Programme gives wide exposure to Hindi literature to the candidates.
• The purpose of Master of Arts (English) program is to provide learners with a wide range of literature, along with the option of gaining expertise in a specific field, along with the sound basis in the language.
• The students are anticipated to grow self-reliance on their critical and analytical abilities.
• The programmes can be completed in a minimum period of two years and a maximum period of five years.

How to apply for Admission?

• Admission into the Master of Arts (Hindi) (MHD) and Master of Arts (English) (MEG)will be based on the marks attained by them in the graduation.
• The final merit list will be prepared on the basis of the marks of the candidates in graduation exam.
• Candidates can apply online through the official website of the University.
• Candidates can apply through the offline mode as well by submitting the application form and the DD of the course fee on the IGNOU’s regional study centre.

Fee Details

• Candidates are required to pay the fee at the admission time.
• The course fee needs to be paid by the candidates through the Demand Draft.
• The demand draft should be in favour of IGNOU payable at the city where the Regional Centre is located.
