IGKV CET 2022: Application Form, Eligibility Criteria, Exam Date

IGKV CET 2022 registration process may commence from April 2022. Applications will be invited by Indira Gandhi Krishi Vishwa Vidyalaya, Krishak Nagar Raipur for admission into PG courses through a common written entrance exam (CET) for the academic session 2022-23 in three faculties namely agriculture, agriculture Engineering, and Horticulture engineering. For Master’s Degree, Faculty of agriculture

The university offers various master degree courses in the faculty of Agriculture. Aspirants seeking admission in M.Sc agriculture programme should fulfill the required eligibility criteria. The prescribed eligibility conditions for Master’s Degree, Faculty of agriculture are as follows:

• Candidate having B.Sc. degree in the related field under 10+2+4 system from a recognized University with minimum 60% marks or O.G.P.A. 6.00 out of 10 point scale system of examination or equivalent grades may apply for admission.

For MBA (Agri-Business Management)

• Candidate having Bachelor’s degree under 10+2+4 system in Agriculture or Agricultural Engineering or Horticulture with minimum 6.00 O.G.P.A. out of 10 point scale or at least 60% marks system of examination or equivalent may apply for admission.

For Master’s Degree, Faculty of Horticulture

• Candidates holding B.Sc. (Ag)/ B.Sc. (Hort.) degree under 10+2+4 system from a recognized University with minimum 60% marks or O.G.P.A. 6.00 out of 10 point scale system of examination or equivalent qualification may apply for the admission.

For Master’s Degree, Faculty of Agricultural Engineering

• Candidates having B.Tech degree in related from a recognized University under 10+2+4 systems with minimum 60% marks or 6.00 OGPA out of 10 point scale system of examination or equivalent grade are eligible to apply.

IGKV CET 2022 Application Form: How to apply?

Candidates can fill online applications in order to get postgraduate admission through CET. Application form will be available online at gtvmis.cg.nic.in. Candidates have to fill all required details carefully and correctly. They have to upload a recent passport size photograph and scanned image of their signature in given fields. Submit the duly filled application along with necessary documents and application fee at the address mentioned in the application form.

Admit Card

Indira Gandhi Krishi Vishwavidyalawa, Krishak Nagar Raipur will release the IGKV CET admit card for eligible candidates who have done successful registration through online mode. Candidates can download the same by providing their unique application number and date of birth.

Admission Procedure

The admission of candidates to desired PG courses will be done through Common Entrance Test (CET) and counseling. All interested and eligible candidates including in-service applicant of this university as well as the Agriculture Department of Chhattisgarh Govt. interested in postgraduate admission of IGKV have to appear in CET 2018. Based on the performance of the candidates in the entrance exam a merit list will be prepared. Based on that list, admissions are offered in the subject of their choice.

Result

Indira Gandhi Krishi Vishwa Vidyalaya will release the CET Result online. Candidates appeared in the entrance exam check and download their result from the official website by entering their roll number/ application number.

Counselling

All candidates having their name in CET 2022 merit list and satisfying minimum admission requirement as per official notification may participate in the counseling conducted by the university via submitting online counseling form, failing to so their application will not be considered.
