ICAR AIEEA 2021 will be conducted with the aim of selecting the eligible candidates for admissions into different agricultural universities. Separate exam will be conducted for admissions to UG, PG and Ph.D degree programmes. The interested applicants can submit their application form starting from 25th July 2021. ICAR AIEEA 2021 Important Dates

ICAR AIEEA Application Form 2021

The application form for ICAR AIEEA 2021 will be made available on the official website of ICAR. Only online applications will be accepted. The first step will be the registration of the candidates by providing the basic details such as name, father’s name, mother’s name, date of birth, etc. After the completion of this step, an application number and password will be generated. The applicants will then have to enter their address details, qualification details, and exam center choice. The candidates will also have to upload the scanned copies of photograph, signature, thumb impression (left for male and right for female candidates), father’s/ mother’s/ guardian’s signature (not mandatory for AICE-JRF/ SRF (PGS)) and declaration in his/ her own handwriting. In the end, the candidates will have to make payment of the application fee through online mode. The application fee will be Rs. 700/- for General/ OBC/ UPS category candidates and Rs 350/- for SC/ ST/ PC candidates. The candidates must take a printout of the application form after the completion of the application/ registration process.

ICAR AIEEA 2021 Eligibility Criteria

For UG degree programme:

The candidates must have passed the 10+2 or equivalent exam from a recognized board/ university after a period of 12 years of study. The minimum aggregate marks required is 50% for General/ OBC/ UPS category candidates and 40% for SC/ ST/ PC candidates.

For PG degree programme:

The aspiring candidates should have passed the bachelor degree exam from a recognized university. A minimum aggregate of 6.60/ 10.00 scale, 3.25/ 5.00 scale or 2.60/ 4.00 scale is required for General, OBC (NCL) and UPS category candidates and 5.60/ 10.00, 2.75/ 5.00 or 2.20/ 4.00 scale is required for SC/ ST/ Physically Challenged (PC) category candidates.

For Ph.D degree programme:

The candidates with a Master’s degree earned from a recognized university who have secured a minimum grade of 6.50/ 10.00 scale, 3.25/ 5.00 scale or 2.60/ 4.00 scale (for General/ OBC (NCL)/ UPS category candidates) and 5.50/10.00, 2.75/5.00 or 2.20/4.00 scale (for SC/ST/Physically Challenged (PC) category candidates) can apply for the ICAR AIEEA 2021.

ICAR AIEEA 2021 Admit Card

The candidates will be able to download their ICAR AIEEA admit card 2021 from the official website from the month of June. The candidates must take a printout of the application form and should also self-attest it before bringing to the exam center. Kindly note that an admit card without self-attestation of photograph, signature and thumb impression will not be considered as valid. No candidate will be allowed to enter the exam hall without a valid admit card. The candidates who are not able to download their admit card should contact the helpline number 2 days before the date of exam.

ICAR AIEEA Exam Pattern 2021

The ICAR AIEEA 2021 will be conducted in online mode. The duration of the UG/ PG exam will be 2:30 hours and for Ph.D exam will be of 3 hours.

For UG exam:

• The candidates will have to attempt three sections of paper among Physics (P), Chemistry (C), Biology (B) and Agriculture. The candidates can either opt for PCB, PCM, PCA or ACB as per their choice and eligibility.
• Each section will comprise of 60 questions.
• Each question will carry 4 marks and the paper will consist of a total of 720 marks.
• There will be a provision of negative marking and 1 mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer.
• All the three sections will have equal weightage.

For PG exam:

• There will be a total of 150 objective-type questions and 10 cross-matching type questions.
• Each objective-type question will carry 4 marks and each cross-matching question will carry 5 marks (1 mark for each correct pairing).
• For each incorrect answer, 1 mark will be deducted for objective-type questions and for each incorrectly answered cross-matching type sub-question/ pair, 0.2 marks will be deducted.

ICAR AIEEA 2021 Syllabus

The syllabus for the UG exam will cover the curriculum of Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Agriculture and Biology of standard 11^th and 12^th.

The PG exam syllabus will cover the topics from the major subject group studied at the bachelor’s degree level.

The questions in the Ph.D exam will be asked from the subjects studied at the master’s degree level.

ICAR AIEEA Answer Key 2021

The answer key of ICAR AIEEA 2021 will be published on the official website and the candidates who are not satisfied with the answer key or captured response can challenge it. The candidate can challenge the answer key by filling an online application form and by paying an amount of Rs. 1000/- per question. The payment can be done via credit card/ debit card/ net banking and will only be refunded if the challenge is accepted.

ICAR AIEEA 2021 Result

The ICAR AIEEA result 2021 will be released on the official website for the UG, PG and Ph.D exams. The result of the entrance examination will be made available in terms of overall merit-rank and category rank obtained by the candidates. A merit list of the qualified candidates will be prepared on the basis of the marks secured in the entrance exam. A category-wise final merit list will be prepared and the candidates will have to appear for the counseling process as per their names on this merit list.

Counselling

The link will be provided to the candidates for downloading the schedule of the counseling at the time of result declaration. The candidates will have to participate in online counseling as per their name/ rank in the merit list and as per the schedule. The admissions to the candidates will be offered on the basis of the choices made during the online counseling and the availability of seats. Only the overall merit rank will be used for admissions in the different AUs (Agricultural Universities).

ICAR AIEEA 2021 Admission

The candidates will have to report to the allotted institute to complete the admission formalities. Once allotted, the request for change in subject/ institute will not be entertained under any circumstances. The candidates will have to appear at the institute along with all the necessary documents to get final enrolment.
