IBSAT 2022: Application Form, Eligibility Criteria, Syllabus

Admission to management courses offered by the IFCAI Business School (IBS) is done on the basis of entrance exam, IBSAT. The exam is followed by a group discussion and personal interview round. Application process for IBSAT 2022 is expected to begin from the month of July 2022 onwards and the exam is to be held in December 2022. Other than entrance test, the candidates are also selected for admission on the basis of CAT/ GMAT/ NMAT exam. Before applying, the candidates are suggested to make sure that they meet the prescribed eligibility requirements.

IBSAT 2022 Eligibility Criteria

The candidates who fulfill the eligibility criteria mentioned below can apply for the IBSAT 2022:

For 2-year management program:

• The candidates should hold a graduation degree in any discipline with not less than 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized university through English medium.
• All applicants should have completed a minimum of 15 years of education either on 10+2+3 or 10+2+4 basis.
• Candidates not meeting the eligibility criteria of English medium in graduation have to submit the TOEFL/ NELT/ IELTS score.
• CAT/ GMAT/ NMAT qualified candidates are exempted from appearing in IBSAT.

For PhD program in management (full-time/ part-time):

• Applicants should have completed graduation degree in any discipline with at least 50% marks in aggregate with medium of instruction as English.
• Postgraduation degree in management (full time) with specialization in Marketing, Finance, Human Resource Management, Operations, Economics, Commerce, Psychology, Sociology, Public Administration, Statistics, Mathematics or in an allied discipline with a minimum of 55% marks is also required.
• Those with a professional qualification like CFA/ CA/ CWA/ CS with 55% and above marks can apply too.
• IBS Alumni/ MPhil Degree holders/ candidates qualified in UGC Net are exempted from appearing in IBSAT.

For PhD program in Economics (full-time)

• A graduation degree with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and postgraduation in Economics or allied discipline with 55% and above marks is required.
• All applicants should have completed a minimum of 17 years of regular education on 10+2+3+2 or 10+2+4+2 basis.
• Candidates not meeting the eligibility criteria of English medium in graduation and/ or postgraduation need to submit the TOEFL/ NELT/ IELTS score.
• IBS Alumni/ MPhil Degree holders/ candidates qualified in UGC Net are exempted from appearing in IBSAT.

IBSAT Application Form 2022

Online registration

Online registration form can be obtained from the official website of IBS. In the form, the candidates will have to provide details such as name, father’s name, email address, date of birth, gender, nationality, mobile number, address, etc. Once this form is filled and submitted, the candidates are required to make payment of the required fee. After this, application number and password will be sent on the registered email address. Using these credentials, the candidates can login to their account and obtain the application form.

Offline registration

The candidates need to purchase a voucher from any IBS campus or other designated places to obtain the application number and password. Using these credentials, the candidates can login to their account and obtain the application form.

Steps for filling application form

• The application form can be filled by providing basic personal and academic details of the candidates.
• Candidates also need to upload scanned copies of their signature and photograph in the application form.
• Application form complete and correct in every manner can then be submitted online.
• The candidates are advised to take a printout of the filled and submitted application form and keep it with them for future reference.

Application fee:

• The candidates need to pay an amount of Rs. 1800/- as IBSAT registration fee.
• Payment of fees can be done using the facility of net banking or debit card/ credit card.

IBSAT Slot Booking 2022

• Once the application process is completed successfully, the candidates can proceed with the slot booking.
• Candidates can login to their account and provide their choice for exam center and slot from the available slots.
• After the slot booking process is done successfully, admit card of the candidates will be generated.
• Slot booking will be done on first come first serve basis.

IBSAT 2022 Admit Card

• Candidates will be able to download their IBSAT admit card after successful booking of slot.
• Admit card will contain the important details related to exam such as exam center address and slot allotted.
• After downloading, the candidates should take a printout of the admit card and carry it to the exam center.
• Candidates who report the center without a valid admit card will not be allowed to appear for the exam.
• The admit card should be kept safe by the candidates as it will be required at the time of admission also.

IBSAT Result 2022

• Candidates will be able to check the result of the entrance exam through online mode tentatively in the month of January 2023.
• To check the result, the candidates will have to login to their account using their application number and password.
• Qualified candidates will then have to appear for a group discussion and personal interview round.
• Only after completing all these rounds successfully, the candidates will be considered for final admissions.

IBSAT 2022 Selection Process

• Candidates who clear the entrance exam will be communicated the details about the GD-PI round.
• Those reporting for GD-PI are required to carry with them all their documents in original and photocopy for verification.
• Those who clear the GD-PI round and get their documents verified will be asked for their choice for course specialization and campus.
• Seats will be allotted to the candidates on the basis of their performance in entrance exam, GD-PI round and past academic records.
• Applicants who are selected for admission should then report to the allotted institute and complete the formalities of admission.

3. Can I get any mock tests for preparation of IBSAT?

Yes. Mock Tests will be provided for the candidates to familiarize with IBSAT test pattern on the official website ibsindia.org from the month of September 2022 onwards.

4. My CAT/ GMAT/ NMAT test results will be announced only in January 2023. Can I still apply?

Yes, such candidates can apply for IBS admission as well. Provision to update their CAT/ GMAT/ NMAT test scores will be provided even after the application date is over. Only after updating the scores, selection process call letter will be issued to the candidates.
