The Himachal Pradesh University will be conducting the HPU B.Ed 2019 Entrance Test hopefully in the month of June. The candidates who qualify this exam will be granted admissions in different colleges for the 2-year programme of B.Ed degree. Candidates from different states can apply for this test, but this is to be kept in mind that approx 85% of the seats are reserved for the local candidates and rest 15% is open to all. HPU B.Ed 2019 Entrance Test Eligibility Criteria
- For all those candidates who belong to the general categories needs to secure a minimum of 50% marks in their graduation. It is 45% for the candidates belonging to the reserved categories.
- The postgraduates, belonging to the general category should hold a degree in one of the following streams Science, Social Science, Humanity, B.E./B.Tech must have secured 55% marks overall. Same is 50% for the reserved category candidates.
- There is no age bar for this exam.
Registration and Application Form for HPU B.Ed 2019 Entrance Test
All those who are eligible for the exam, as per the mentioned eligibility criteria can now proceed towards filling the application form. The application form for the HPU B.Ed 2019 Entrance Test will be most probably released in the month of April 2019. The form can be filled online along with an application fee whose structure is given below:
- General/OBC candidates: Rs 900/-
- SC/ST candidates: Rs 450/-
- Antyodaya/IRDP category candidates: Rs 450/-
This amount can be submitted either through net banking/debit card/credit card or via a challan.
The application form will be made available on the official Himachal Pradesh University website admissions.hpushimla.in. The candidates need to provide all their personal and qualifications detail on the application form along with the soft copy of their photograph and signature. After filling the form, you can make the fee payment. With this, the procedure of filling the application form is done, you can now download the final copy of it.
Exam Pattern for HPU B.Ed 2019
The entrance test will consist a total of 150 questions, categorized into 5 different sections. Total marks for this exam will be 150 and the duration will be of 2 hours. The complete details of the exam format can be understood with this table:

Admit Card and Exam Centers for the Entrance Test
The admit card will be issued somewhere in the month of May on the official website www.hpuniv.in. You need to download this card and present it at the examination center. You will need your registration number and date of birth to be able to download the admit card. Check all the details mentioned in the admit card and in case correction is required you need to write a letter to t6he university along with a fee of Rs 300/-.
The center for the examination will be mentioned in your admit card only and will be based on your choices and availability of the seats.
Answer Keys And Result for HPU B.Ed 2019 Entrance Test
The university will release answer keys with the help of which, the candidate can evaluate their performance and estimate their score. The final result will only be published by the university itself on the university website. Re-checking of the answer will not be considered. Those candidates who surpass the cut-off marks (35% for general and 30% for reserved candidates) will be called for counseling and seat allocation.
