HP LEET 2021:‘Himachal Pradesh Takniki Shiksha Board’ (HPTSB), Dharamshala conducts the ‘Lateral Entry Entrance Test-2021’ (LEET-2021) to screen the eligible candidates for admission into the various diploma programmes in the public and private polytechnic institutes of Himachal Pradesh. Candidates can get admission directly in the 2^nd and 3^rd year of the polytechnic courses. Those candidates who have completed their higher secondary education from a school affiliated to a recognized state or central board of secondary education can appear in the HP LEET 2021.

HP LEET 2021 Important Dates

HP LEET 2021 Eligibility Criteria

• All Indian nationals can apply for the examination.
• Candidates must have completed the higher secondary education from a school affiliated to a recognized board of education.
• Those candidates, who have passed secondary school exam (10th) and 2 years ITI/COE course will also be eligible to apply.
• Candidates appearing in the qualifying exam will also be eligible to apply for LEET 2021.
• The age of the applicants must be 15 years to 20 years i.e., both years included.
  

HP LEET Application Form 2021

• The HP LEET Application Form 2021 will be available online on the official website of the ‘Himachal Pradesh Takniki Shiksha Board’ (HPTSB).
• Candidates need to fill and submit the LEET application form through online mode only.
• It will be essential for the applicants to fill all the details correctly in the required format in the application
• Candidates will be required to pay the application fee of Rs. 650 as well at the time of submission of the application form through the online mode (credit card, debit card or net banking).
• The candidates of the reserved category will pay the application fee of Rs. 400.
• Candidates who make the payment through the offline mode such as DD will pay Rs. 700 (general category) and Rs. 450 as the application fee.
  

HP LEET 2021 Exam Pattern

• The LEET exam 2021 will be of objective nature.
• The questions will have multiple choices for answers.
• There will be 100 questions in the exam.
• There will be 4 sections of different subjects (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and General Awareness) in the exam from which questions will be asked.
• For every correct answer, there will be 4 marks.
• Candidates’ 1 mark will be deducted as penalty for every wrong answer.

HP LEET 2021 Admit Card

• After the LEET application form is submitted by the applicants, they will be issued the LEET admit card 2021 to appear in the exam.
• The LEET admit card will have the information about the exam venue, timing, date, and duration of the exam.
• Candidates will be required to reach the exam venue on the given time as mentioned in the admit card.
• No candidates will be permissible to take part in the LEET 2021 without the LEET admit card.

HP LEET Result 2021

• Himachal Pradesh Technical education board will declare the result for the Exam of HP LEET 2021 in the month of May 2021 after the commencing of the examination.
• The merit list will be made on the basis of the marks attained by the candidates in the LEET 2021.
• Candidates can check and download the result of the examination from the official website of ‘Himachal Pradesh Takniki Shiksha Board’ (HPTSB).
  

HP LEET Counselling

• HP LEET Counselling will be commenced after the announcement of the LEET Result 2021.

Those, who take part in the admission counseling, will have to appear before the admission counseling board with all the certificates
