Himachal Pradesh ANM 2024 Eligibility Criteria
It is important for candidates to make ensure that they are eligible before because the application form of ineligible candidates will be summarily rejected.
Age Limit
- The age of a candidate should be more than 17 years and less than 35 years as on 31st December 2024. A relaxation of 5 years in the upper age limit shall be applicable for SC/ ST students.
Educational Qualification
- Aspirants must have passed 10+2 or an equivalent exam in Medical /Non-Medical /Commerce/Arts (Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, Economics, Political Science, History, Geography, Business Studies, Accountancy, Home Science, Sociology, Psychology, and Philosophy) and English Core/ English Elective or Science or Health care science – Vocational stream only passing out from recognized Board.
- Those aspirants who qualified in 10+2 Arts or Science stream examination conducted by the National Institute of Open School.
Himachal Pradesh ANM 2024 Application Form
Those eligible candidates who are looking to apply need to submit the application form before the last date. Please note that the application form will release through the official website only. The process of application form submission is explained below.
- To start the process of application form submission, aspirants have to visit the official website.
- On the official website, candidates are required to click on the link to download the application form.
- After downloading the application form, aspirants need to take a printout of the same.
- On the printout of the application form, candidates have to fill in details accurately.
- The details entered in the application form must be authentic because incorrect details may lead to rejection of the candidature.
- Along with the details, aspirants have to affix their passport size photograph on the space provided.
- The duly filled application form along with relevant documents must reach the following address before the last date.

Application Fee
The application fee is different for candidates from various categories as given below.
- General/ OBC category candidates: Rs. 400/-
- SC/ ST candidates: Rs. 200/-
Mode of payment: All candidates need to the application fee via SBI Connect. The fee deposit receipt must be sent with the application form.
HP ANM 2024 Selection Process and Merit list
- The selection of candidates will be based purely on merit.
- The Director of Medical Education & Research, HP will prepare merit lists based on total marks obtained by the eligible candidates in the 10+2 qualifying examination.
- Double candidates to the number of available seats for admission will be called for the counselling process.
- Benefits of the reservation policy as per the rules will be given to candidates of reserved categories.
- In case two or more candidates have equal marks then preference in the merit list will be given to the older candidate.
- Along with the merit list, authorities will also release waiting lists for those candidates who can’t get their names on the merit list. Such candidates will be called for counselling in case seats remain vacant.
- All the merit lists and waiting lists will be published online through the official website.
Himachal Pradesh ANM 2024 Counselling
- Those successful candidates who will get their names on the merit list will be invited to take part in the counselling process.
- The date for counselling shall be notified through the Official website, News Papers, Radio & TV, etc.
- During the counselling process, candidates will be asked to provide the choice of colleges in which they are looking to study.
- Candidates called for the counselling must produce their original documents before the counselling committee. The documents required at the time of counselling are as follows.
- Matriculation Certificate for Date of Birth
- 10+2 qualifying examination certificate,
- SC/ ST/ OBC categories certificate
- Subcategories certificate i.e. EWS, IRDP, Ex-Serviceman/ Ward of Ex-Serviceman, Physically handicapped, Children/ Grant Children of Freedom Fighter, Latest Character Certificate and bonafide certificate issued by the Tehsildar, etc. issued by the competent authority
- The allotment of seats will take place solely on the basis of merit list and choice filled by candidates during counselling.
- Those candidates who will get selected for admission after counselling will be able to download their selection letters from the official website.

Answer: No, the application fee in the form of demand draft/ IPO will not be accepted.
