Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna (HNB) Garhwal University, which is renowned as Garhwal University was established in the year 1973. The university is situated at Srinagar town in the Pauri Garhwal district of Uttarakhand state. It is counted as one of the top ten universities of India along with its 3 major campuses and more than 180 affiliated colleges across the state. Infrastructure

The university has been known for its largest infrastructure since it came into existence. • Birla Campus, Srinagar Garhwal with its extension at Chauras Campus
• Swami Ram Teerth (SRT) Campus, Badshahithaul, Tehri
• Gopal Reddy (BGR) Campus, Pauri

• BA Bachelor of Arts

Admission Process: Admission to these courses will be done through entrance exam and central counseling.

Eligibility Criteria: Candidates should have obtained 50% marks (45% for SC/ST category candidates) in aggregate in 10+2 or its equivalent exam with English as one of the subjects.

• Bachelor of Fine Arts [BFA]

Admission Process: Through entrance exam and central counseling

Eligibility Criteria: Have secured 50% marks (45% for SC/ST category candidates) in aggregate in 10+2 or its equivalent exam with English as one of the subjects.

• MA Master of Arts

Eligibility Criteria: Completed graduation degree in 10+2+3 pattern along with 50% or equivalent CGPA in aggregate (45% marks for SC/ST category candidates) from a recognized university.

• Bachelor of Education (B.ED)

Admission Process: Through entrance exam and central counseling

Eligibility Criteria: As similar to eligibility for MA Master of Arts.

• Master of Education

Eligibility Criteria: Candidates should have completed graduation degree in 10+2+3 pattern along with 60% or equivalent CGPA in aggregate (45% marks for SC/ST category candidates) from a recognized university.

• Bachelor of Business Administration [BBA]

Admission Process: Selection of students will be done through the entrance test.

Eligibility Criteria: As similar to BA Bachelor of Arts eligibility criteria.

• MBA/PGDM Master of Business Administration

Admission Process: Through entrance exam.
