Introduction

The University was established with an endeavor to recreate the old Gurukul system of education students. The fundamental of the university was  laid by Swami Shradhanandji. The University was established with an aim to replace the  indigenous Lord Macalays’s education policy in India by delivering education to students in the domian of Vedic Literature, Indian culture, Indian Philosophy and modern science and research. It is a deemed University that is completely funded by University Grants Commission and Government of India.

It is also recognised by All India Council of Techniacl Education, PCI, NCTE and AIU.

Eligibility Criteria

For Bachelor courses

In to get admission to any of the undergraduatre course students must have completed 10+2 in the respective discipline except arts. Students must have attained 50% marks in 10+2

In case of admission to Bachelor’s of Physical Education candidate ought to complete Bachelor’s with 50% marks or should have participated in Inter College, Inter Zonal, District, School Competition in sports and games as recognised by the AIU, IOA, Govt of India, SGFI.

Or

Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education with 45% marks

Or

Bcahelor’s degree with Physical education as a compulsory or an elective subject

For Master’s Course

In order to get admission in to Master’s course student has to complete graduation in the same discipline. It is important to show  gradutaion degree of the course with minimum of 45% marks.

For Doctorate Course

Candidates applying for doctorate course ought to comply with the eligibility criteria and should have completed masters in the discipline wishing to gain doctorate.

For Diploma Certification

Candidate must have completed 10+2

Campus Infrastructure

The University has three campus with the main campus located at Haridwar and others- Kanya Gurukul Campus at Dehradun and Kanya Gurukula Campus at Hardwar.

 The main campus is only for boys where as other two colleges are constructed to impart education to exclusively to girls. The University was developed over a huge area that comprises arary of facilities and amenities for students. Complete ex[posure is given to ensure to students so that they stay abreast of latest changes in their respective spheres.
