Gujarat PGCET Merit List 2022: ACPC will announce provisional merit list for GATE and Gujarat PGCET aspirants most probably in the month of July 2022. Admission to M.Tech program across Gujarat state is done based on candidates’ score in GATE or PGCET and therefore the authority releases separate merit list of both rank holders. Criteria Based on Which Gujarat PGCET 2022 merit list gets prepared

The authority will consider GATE or Gujarat PGCET score, date of birth of candidates and marks secured in the qualifying exam while preparing merit list. Candidates older in age will be given priority.

Tips to Understand Gujarat PGCET Merit Number

Merit rank allotted to candidates will consist of seven digits.

First Digit Code

• If 1 then it will be for Sponsored applicants of Gujarat state;
• If 2 then it will be for Sponsored applicants of outside Gujarat state;
• If 3 then it will be for Non Sponsored applicants of Gujarat state;
• If 4 then it will be for Non Sponsored applicants of outside Gujarat state;

Second & Third Digit Code

Second & third digit code will be for different disciplines in following way:

Last Four Digits

• GATE qualified applicants will be allotted rank from 0001 to 1000.
• Non GATE applicants will be allotted rank from 1001 onwards for Non Sponsored applicants of Gujarat and outside Gujarat.
• For sponsorship candidates, last 4 digits will be allotted according to the priority available with committee.
