The Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC) is the respective authority that will organize and manage the Gujarat PGCET 2023 examination. It’s a common entrance exam conducted with an aim to select the candidates for admission to various postgraduate courses in the state of Gujarat. Gujarat PGCET 2023 Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for various courses are given below-

For M.E/ M.Tech Admission

Get Gujarat PGCET,Exam Updates through e-mail, by entering your details below.
  • The candidate must possess a B.Tech/B.E degree in relevant discipline with at least 50% aggregate marks. (45% for the candidates from SC/ ST/ SEBC/ EWS candidates)

For M.Pharm Admission

  • Applicants must have a B.Pharm degree with a minimum of 55% marks (50% for SC/ ST/ EWS/ SEBC candidates).

Note– Those students who are going to appear for the qualifying exam in the year 2023 are also eligible.

Gujarat PGCET 2023 Application Form

Aspiring candidates looking to apply should check the application process explained below.

  • The first step of application process is to purchase the PIN cover from selected branches of the ICICI bank.
  • After purchasing the PIN Cover, the candidate may register on the ACPC website.
  • During registration, aspirants are required to provide their complete educational, personal and contact details.
  • Apart from the details, candidates also need to upload the scanned images of their password size photograph.
  • The scanned images should be in jpg, png, or bmp format and the image size should not exceed 20 KB.
  • After filling the application form online, the candidates must take a printout of the application form submitted.
  • Next, the applicants have to visit the designated help centers with a printout of the submitted application form and all other relevant documents.
  • The documents to be carried along with the application form should be self-attested.
  • The help centers will verify documents of the candidates. So, candidates must also carry the original documents for verification.
  • Documents that will be required at the time of document verification are as follows.
    • Class 12th Mark Sheet
    • Degree Certificate
    • School leaving certificate or Transfer certificate
    • Caste certificate
    • Qualifying exam mark sheet.
    • Experience letter (if applicable)
    • PWD certificate (if applicable)
    • Any other relevant document

Application Fee

  • For all candidates, the application fee is Rs.500/-
  • The candidates may pay the application fee at the time of purchasing the PIN cover from the selected branches of ICICI Bank.

Gujarat PGCET 2023 Admit Card

  • The candidates will be able to collect their admit cards cum acknowledgement slips to be available at the help centre after document verification.
  • An admit card comprises information regarding the date, time, and venue of the exam.
  • No candidate will be permitted to enter the examination hall without having a valid admit card.
  • The admit card should be kept safe even after the Exam as it will be required during the counselling process.

  • Type of Questions: Multiple choice objective type questions
  • Duration of the exam: 90 minutes for PGCET Engineering/ 100 minutes for PGCET Pharmacy
  • Negative marking: not applicable
  • Mode of Examination: Offline (OMR sheet based test)
  • Marking pattern: 1 mark for every question
  • Number of Questions: 100

Gujarat PGCET Syllabus 2023

The syllabus of Gujarat PGCET 2023 depends upon the branch of engineering in which the candidate is looking for admission. However, we are providing the syllabus for some of the branches as given below-

Gujarat PGCET 2023 Result

  • The result of Gujarat PGCET 2023 exam will release in online mode. Candidates will be able to check the same by visiting the official website.
  • Candidates should note that the authorities will publish the result in the form of a merit list. This merit list will contain information about the cut-off marks required for admission.
  • Two merit list will be there-
    • First one will be based on GATE/GPAT scores of the candidates
    • Second merit list will be based on Gujarat PGCET 2023 score.
  • Those candidates shortlisted as per the merit lists will be called to participate in the counselling process.

Counselling

  • After the result declaration and publication of merit list, authorities will invite the successful candidates to participate in the counselling process.
  • In the counselling process, candidates will be asked to provide the choice of college in which they want to study.
  • The allotment of seats will take place strictly as per the choices provided by the candidates and merit list.
  • All the candidates also need to get their documents verified at the time of counselling.
