Gujarat PGCET application form will be released online in the last week of June 2022. Admission Committee for Professional Courses Gujarat (ACPC) conducts Gujarat Post Graduate Common Entrance Test (Gujarat PGCET) for admission to ME, M.Tech and M.Pharma courses offered by government and private colleges across the state. Gujarat PGCET 2022 Eligibility Criteria

The basic eligibility criteria for appearing in Gujarat PGCET 2022 is given below:

• For ME/ M.Tech degree program: The candidates who hold a BE/ B.Tech degree in relevant branch with not less than 50% marks in aggregate (45% marks for SC/ ST/ SEBC candidates) are eligible.
• For M.Pharma degree program: A B.Pharma degree from a recognized university with a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate (50% marks for SC/ ST/ SEBC candidates) is required.
• Final Semester: Candidates whose final semester result is yet to be announced can also apply.
• GATE qualified: GATE qualified candidates are also permitted to apply.

Gujarat PGCET 2022 Application Form

The application form for Gujarat PGCET will be released in online mode on the official website of ACPC www.gujacpcadm.nic.in. Candidates who wish to appear for the entrance test must submit their applications on time.

• First, the candidates will have to purchase a PIN cover containing the 14-digit PIN and user id to obtain the application form.
• In the application form, the candidates will be asked to provide their personal details such as name, date of birth, nationality, email address, mobile number, etc.
• Academic details such as college name, year of passing, marks secured, etc in the qualifying exam will also be asked.
• Scanned copies of photograph, signature, category certificate, mark sheet, income certificate, etc need to be uploaded in the application form.
• After providing all the details in the application form, the candidates are required to submit it online.
• Candidates should also obtain printout of their application forms after submitting the same online.

Application fee:

• The application fee or say the PIN cover cost for Gujarat PGCET 2022 will be Rs. 500/.
• Submission of application fee can be done by the means of cash payment.

Gujarat PGCET 2022 Admit Card

• It is mandatory for the candidates to carry the admit card to the exam center or else they will not be allowed to enter the exam hall.
• Along with the admit card, the candidates are also required to carry a valid photo identity proof.
• It is suggested that the admit card is kept safe by the candidates till the whole process of admission is over.

Gujarat PGCET 2022 Result

• The result of the Gujarat PGCET entrance exam will be declared online and the candidates can check it by visiting the ACPC’s official website http://jacpcldce.ac.in/.
• After the declaration of result, a merit list of the qualified candidates will be prepared by the authority.
• The list will be prepared in the order of ranking on the basis of marks obtained by the candidates in the entrance test.
• Counseling and other process of admission will be carried out according to the names of the candidates in the merit list.

• Details of the admission process will be communicated to the candidates through the website of ACPC.
• The candidates will be asked to provide their choices for course and institute through online mode.

Gujarat PGCET FAQs 2022

1. Do I need to register differently for different courses?

No. You are not required to register differently for different courses. The common application is available by single registration.

2. Does a GATE/ GPAT qualified candidate need to appear for the PGCET?

No. Admission of the GATE/ GPAT qualified candidates will be done on the basis of their marks in the concerned examination. Such candidates are not required to appear for the PGCET.

3. How can I provide my choice for exam center for appearing in the entrance exam?

The candidates will be given the opportunity to provide their choice for exam center for appearing in the entrance exam at the time of filling the application form.

4. What if I fail to report for the admission process within the given time period?

Candidates who fail to report for the admission process within the given time period will not be considered for admission anymore. No further request will be entertained from such candidates.

5. I have not cleared my qualifying exam yet. Can I apply for the PGCET 2022?

Candidates who will clear their qualifying exam before the beginning of the admission process can apply for the PGCET 2022.
