About Government Engineering College, Kozhikode
Founded in the year 1999, the Government Engineering College, Kozhikode (GECK) is a well known government engineering college situated in Kozhikode city of Kerala, India. The college was established with the motive of promoting technical education among the youth of the state. GECK has been affiliated to University of Calicut and approved by AICTE. It is considered as one of the best engineering colleges in the state of Kerala with top level of quality education and imparting various undergraduate and postgraduate courses in different engineering streams.

For admission to engineering programmes to be offered at GCEK, candidates have to qualify the State Level Entrance examination held by the Commissioner of Entrance Examinations or National level / State level Entrance Examination approved by the Government of Kerala as equivalent.
