Government Endorsed Ordinance Deferring Common Medical Exam NEET by a year

After a long argument which has been going on in regards of conducting NEET this year, Government finally passed an ordinance and sent the same to the president. The ordinance says that the National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET) has been deferred by a year and it will be organized for upcoming sessions. Government took this decision so that students would get sufficient time to prepare for the exam.

The first phase of NEET has already conducted on 1st May, 2016 and the second phase is scheduled to be held on 24th July, 2016. Once the ordinance gets passed, state government aspirants won’t have to sit for NEET however it will be applicable for those applying for private and Central government medical institutions.

The state discussed several troubles in the health ministers’ conference recently, consisting issues related to syllabus and language of aspirants. They said students from state boards should get sufficient time to become comfortable with ongoing pattern of NEET.
