Goa Polytechnic Admission 2021: Each year, Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Government of Goa conducts Goa Polytechnic Entrance Process for admission to the different diploma polytechnic programmes in the area of engineering & technology, pharmacy and hotel management offered by the various government and non-government polytechnic colleges/institutions across the Goa state.

Eligibility Criteria For Goa Polytechnic 2021
- Candidate should be Indian Citizen and have the domicile of Goa state.
- The applicants should have done 10th orSecondaryy School Certificate examination of the Goa Board or its equivalent examination from any recognized board.
- The applicants should have at least 45% marks (40% for reserving categories) with mathematics, science, and English for engineering courses.
- Candidate seeking admission in Hotel management and catering technology programmes should obtain a minimum 35% in HSSC in any discipline.
- For admission to food & garment technology the required minimum marks are 35% in SSC with mathematics, science and English as necessary subjects.
- To take admission in the pharmacy the, candidate should have score minimum 35% in HSSC with Chemistry, Physics, mathematics/ Biology as mandatory subjects.
- For Modern Office Practice the minimum marks should be 35% in HSSC in any stream.
- There is no age limit
Application Form: How to apply
The information booklet and application form for Goa Polytechnic admissions will be available at the designated centres. Candidates have to remit Rs. 600/- (Cash) as required application form fees along with prospectus. The applicants may also avail the application form through post (extra 10/- towards service charge) by sending a request to the address given below along with a demand draft of Rs. 600/- payable in favor of Director of Technical Education at Panaji. The applications will not available on the official website or any other website to download.

Admit Card /hall ticket
The admit card for Goal polytechnic admission 2021 will be provided on the very day you give the application form from the designated centers. The applicants need to ensure that they have all the important documents duly attested along with their photographs on the day of submission.
Syllabus
The candidates seeking admission in one of the best polytechnic colleges of Goa should go through the study books of Class 12th. Subjects like Physics, English, Biology, Chemistry and Mathematics will be a major part of the Goa Polytechnic exam syllabus.
Exam pattern
The paper comprise four subjects namely chemistry, physics, mathematics, Biology. Each subject carries 75 questions completed in 2 hours. There will be no negative marking in this exam
Selection Process
The selection of the candidate will be made on the basis of rank given by the board based on marks achieved by the students in Polytechnic and qualifying examination. There will be extra marks to merit offered by the board for candidates from sports and NCC quota.
Counseling
University will be only called those candidates for counseling who have scored well in the entrance exam. Seat allotment and other document verification process are done in counseling.
