Eligibility Criteria for ITI Goa
Aspirants should ensure their eligibility before filling the online application form. The eligibility criteria for different ITI courses may be varied. Candidates can check the detailed information about Goa ITI admission eligibility criteria 2022 from below:
Eligibility for Engineering Trades (including Machinist, Fitter, Instrument Mechanic, Electrician, Electronics Mechanic, Mechanic Refrigeration & Air-Conditioning, Draughtsman (Mechanical/Civil), Turner, Mechanic Motor Vehicle) – 2 years
Aspirants should have passed 10th class under 10+2 system of examination with Science, Mathematics or its equivalent.
Eligibility for Welder, Wireman, Carpenter
8th class pass outs are eligible to apply.
Eligibility for Non-Engineering Trades
For Computer Operator & Programming Assistant, Secretarial Practice (English), Stenographer & Secretarial Assistant (English), Basic Cosmetology, Desk Top Publishing Operator, and Food Production (General), Food & Beverages Guest Service Assistant: – 1 year
Candidates should have done SSC/10th class examination
For Sewing Technology, Garment and Sales Assistant, Driver cum Mechanic (LMV):
Candidates should have passed 8th class examination
For Print & Media, Travel and Tourism, Front office assistant, House keeper, Basic cosmetology

Goa ITI Application Form 2022: How to apply?
The application form for Goa ITI Admission 2022 is now available. Interested candidates who satisfy the required eligibility norms can fill and submit the application form in person at the entry counter of the respective ITI. Candidates are advised to must read the Prospectus and important instructions before filling the application form and Acknowledgement Card. The duly filled applications along with the required certificates can also be sent via registered post AD addressed to the Principal of the concerned ITI. The trade courses at the ITIs under CTS will start in the month of August and under COE in the month of September.
Merit list
The Department of Technical Education (Department of Employment and training of Industrial training institute), Goa will release a separate merit list of each entry qualification. Admissions will be purely made on the basis of merit and on first come first serve basis to applicants on the date and time prescribed in the “Schedule of Admission Process”. If the selected candidate is willing to take admission in the ITI course then he/she need to be present at the counselling as per the given date and time. They have to bring original documents along with required fees on the day of counseling to complete the admission process.
Seat reservation for Goa ITI admission 2022
The board follows some reservation criteria while offering admission to candidates under various ITI trades. A certain percentage of the total seats at each I.T.I. in the particular trades have been reserved for different categories of the candidates.
- Scheduled Castes (SC) – 2 percent
- Scheduled Tribes – 12 percent
- Physically Handicapped Persons (PHP) -3 percent
- Other Backward Classes (OBC): 19 ½ percent
- Women candidates (for all above categories)- 30 percent
Moreover, one seat will be reserved at every Government ITI of Goa for each of the following categories
- Children of State and Central Government Employees (CGE)
- Children of Freedom Fighters (CFF)
- Children of African Repatriates of Goa Origin (CAR)
Apart from this, 1 seat in each of the ITIs will also be reserved for children of defense personnel in the following order of priority:
- Children of deceased/disabled Ex-Servicemen, including those killed/disabled in peacetime.
- Children of Ex-servicemen
- Children of serving jawans
- Children of serving officers
- Ex-Servicemen
