Eligibility Criteria for GNDU Amritsar Admission 2021

Candidates must fulfill necessary eligibility criteria before applying for admission in any of above-mentioned courses. The prescribed eligibility criteria are tabled below:

B.Tech	Candidate must have done 10+2 with at least 40% marks in the aggregate or equivalent examination.
Bachelor of Arts (Pass Course)	Candidate must have done 12th Class examination of the Punjab School Education Board with obtaining minimum of 50% marks or any other equivalent examination recognized by this university.
B.Com/BBA	Candidates should have +2 with minimum of 40% marks in aggregate or equivalent examination
Bachelor of Library and Information Science	Candidates should have done B.A. / B.Com/ B.Sc or M.A./ M.Com./ M.Sc with at least 50% marks or equivalent examination.
Bachelor of Science / Bachelor of Science (Honours)	Candidate should have done 10+2 with minimum of 40% marks in aggregate in the concerned science group or equivalent examination
Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.)	Candidates having  minimum of 50 % marks in the bachelor’s degree and/ or in the masters degree in the social science/ science/  Humanity/ Bachelors in Engineering or Technology with specialization in Mathematics and Science with minimum of 55% marks or any other qualification equivalent thereto, are eligible to apply for the B.Ed admission.
MA/M.Com	Candidate must hold Bachelor’s Degree in any Faculty with minimum of 50% marks in aggregate or 45% marks in the related subject or equivalent examination.
Master of Science	Candidate must have done B.Sc. degree (10+2+3 system) with related subject as one of the elective subjects with minimum of 50% marks from GNDU or any other examination recognized equivalent thereto by the University.
Master of Education(M.Ed.)	Candidates should have obtained minimum of 50% marks or an equivalent grade in the following courses: (i) B.Ed. (ii) B.El.Ed (iii) B.A.B.Ed, B.Sc.B.Ed. (iv) D.El.Ed with an undergraduate degree (with minimum 50% marks in each).
M.Tech	Candidate must be graduated with scoring minimum 50% marks in aggregate in concerned subject or equivalent examination.

GNDU Admission 2021 Application Form: How to apply

Application for GNDU admission 2021 will be submitted only online after the official admission schedule is uploaded on the website of GNDU i.e. www.gnduadmission.org. Aspirants can obtain the application form online only through the main website of university admission. Candidates have to pay an application fee of Rs.1200/- (for General Category) and (Rs.600/- for SC/ST Category) for each application form. However, for B.Tech courses (except B.Tech URP) candidates have to deposit one time counseling fee Rs.2000/-.

Mode of Application Fee payment: Payment can be made through any Branch of State Bank of Patiala or RTGS if there is no branch of State Bank of Patiala nearby.

Admission Process

1. For B.Tech Programmes (Except B.Tech, Regional Planning and Urban): The selection will be made on the basis of rank of JEE (Main) 2021. Counseling for shortlisted candidates will be conducted by GNDU as per the prescribed schedule.
2. For MBA, MCA, MCA (FYIC) courses: Selection will be made on the basis of Entrance Test to be organized by GNDU, Amritsar
3. For B.Arch courses: Admission to B.Arch programme will be done by the Head, Department of Architecture through combined merit of NATA score and qualifying examination in the ratio of 50:50
4. For LLB (Hons), BA LLB (Hons) (FYIC) courses: The selection of the law programmes will be made as per the notification issued by Punjab Government.
5. For M.Com/B.Com at GNDU Regional Campus Gurdaspur and B.Com, BCA, PGDCA courses at GNDU R.C Fattu Dhingha (Sultanpur Lodhi): Selection in these courses will be done by the Associate Dean, AA/O.S.D at their own level
6. Selection of all Masters’ level programmes will be made on the basis of particular Entrance Test except for M.A. (Education)
7. Selection to all the courses at University College, Jalandhar will be done by the Principal of the College apart from MBA/MCA
