Eligibility Criteria
Aspirants who want to apply for GITAM Nursing admission test 2021 must fulfill the prescribed eligibility criteria. The important eligibility criteria for GNAT 2021 are as follows:
- Only female applicants can apply for the exam.
- Candidates should have passed 10+2 class examination with Science (PCB) & English Elective/ English Core with minimum aggregate of 45% marks from recognized board under CBSE / AISSCE / ICSE / HSCE/ SSCE or other equivalent Board.
- Those appearing in 10+2 examination in Science organized by National Institute of Open School with at least 45% marks can also apply.
- Applicants should be medically fit.
- The minimum age of the candidate should be 17 years as on 31st December 2018.
GITAM Nursing Admission Test (GNAT) 2021 Application form: How to apply
Aspirants who want to get admission in GITAM University through GITAM Nursing Admission Test (GNAT) – 2021 are needed to fill up the application form that will be available online at www.gitam.edu. Applicants are advised to go through the GNAT Complete Information booklet before filling the online application form. The application process of GNAT 2021 will involve three steps as mentioned below:
Step 1: Filling up the online application form:
Candidates should fill all the important details such as personal and professional information as required in the online application form very carefully and correctly. After successful submission of the data, a unique application number will be generated. Keep this number safe as it will be used to complete the remaining steps of the application form and also for your future use.
Step 2: Uploading of documents (Photograph and signature)
At this stage, candidates have to upload the scanned image of recent passport size color photograph and signature as per specifications.
Step 3: Payment of Processing Fee
The candidates are needed to pay Rs. 300/- as necessary processing fee for submission of online application form. The payment of fee can be made through online mode by using the debit card/credit card payment gateway. After successful payment of the fee, the applicant will be able to print the acknowledgment page. Once the registration is completed successfully, take two copies of print-out of the filled-in application form for future use.
Admit card
Applicants can download their Admit Card/ hall ticket from the official website only after its official availability. Admit Card will be issued to those applicants who fill their form completely and submit it before the due date of form submission. Candidates must bring their admit card while appearing in the examination.

Counselling Process
The process of counselling for admission to B.Sc. (Nursing) course will be held at GITAM University, Visakhapatnam campus probably in the month of September 2021. Shortlisted candidates will be intimated about counselling details through call letter which can be downloaded from the official portal at www.gitam.edu.
Candidates should attend the counselling in- person along with the required documents/certificates in original.
