GITAM GAT Eligibility Criteria: Candidates aspiring to get admission to several undergraduate engineering programmes offered at GITAM University they need to ensure their eligibility in order to apply for the same. Here is the list if eligibility norms must be fulfilled by candidates for appearing in GITAM GAT.
Candidates who are unable to meet with all eligibility norms as notified by the authority their candidature may be cancelled either at the time of exam, counselling or admission. So, carefully check your eligibility before you apply for the test.
Educational Qualification
Candidates who are pass in class 12th or intermediate from a recognized state or central board or its equivalent either in the year 2021 or 2022 they can apply subject of fulfilling following eligibility conditions:
- Tech. Course: Who have obtained at least 60% marks or first class of equivalent grade in aggregate in Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry in the qualifying exam are eligible.
- Tech. in Biotechnology Course: Who have obtained at least 60% marks or first class of equivalent grade in aggregate in Physics, Mathematics/Biology and Chemistry in the qualifying exam are eligible.
- Pharmacy: Who have obtained at least 60% marks or first class of equivalent grade in aggregate in Physics, Mathematics/Biology and Chemistry in the qualifying exam are eligible.
- Arch: Who have obtained at least 60% marks or first class of equivalent grade in aggregate in Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry in the qualifying exam are eligible. Candidates also have NATA/JEE Main valid score.
Eligibility Criteria for Direct Admission
Candidates who have obtained first rank in 10+2 or its equivalent exam conducted by State or Central board examination in the year 2022 are eligible for direct admission. However, they need to fulfill all eligibility norms of GITAM GAT including educational qualification, age criteria etc.
