GBU GPT Admission 2023: Candidates, who have accomplished their bachelor’s degree, can apply for the ‘General Proficiency Test’ (GPT) conducted by the Gautam Buddha University (GBU) to pursue various courses of Masters Level.
The University invites applications from the Indian Nationals for the session 2023-24 to apply for the proficiency Test and after qualifying the examination, candidates can choose the subjects as per their choice, ability and their educational background in the Master’s program.

Courses Offered by the University
- Candidates can opt for the number of Masters Program after qualifying the entrance exam.
- University offers the courses as given below-
- Master of Technology (M.Tech.)
- Master of Business Administration (MBA)
- Master of Planning (M.Plan)
- Master of Philosophy (M.Phil)
Candidates can choose any of the courses as mentioned above after they qualify the entrance test.
Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates need to have a Bachelors Degree in the relevant subjects which they wish to apply for the Master’s Degree.
- Candidates need to have completed the Master’s Degree to apply for the M.Phil Program.
- The marks of all the candidates of the general category should be 50% in graduation.
- The candidates of the reserved category will be given the relaxation of 5% marks.
- Candidates, who wish to pursue the M.Phil, should have attained a minimum 55% marks in their Master’s Degree.
- The candidates of the SC and ST category need to have 50% marks in their master’s degree to apply for the M.Phil program.
GBU GPT 2023 Application Form: How to apply?
- To apply for the General Proficiency Test, candidates need to apply thru the online application form.
- The application form will be available to be downloaded on the official website of the University.
- Candidates will have to provide all the necessary details in the application form. Candidates’ name and the contact information will be provided in the application form.
- Candidates need to provide the mobile number, address, and the email ID in the application form.
- The details of the educational qualifications will also be provided in the application form.
- The scanned photo and the signature shall be uploaded with the application form and then the printout of the application form will be taken.
- The educational certificates will be attached with the application form and then it needs to be dispatched to the registrar office of the university.
- Candidates seeking the relaxation and the benefits of the reservation will have to attach the self-attested certificate of the caste they belong to.
Selection Procedure
- Candidates will be selected on the basis of the marks attained by them in the entrance test.
- On the basis of the marks, the merit will be made by the university and then candidates will be selected on the basis of that merit list.
- The selection will also depend on the number of seats available in the university and the marks attained by the candidates in the entrance exam.
