Eligibility criteria for Gauhati University B.ed 2023
First of all, candidates should check and ensure the Gauhati University B.Ed Admission eligibility criteria before appearing in the B.Ed entrance exam. The eligibility criteria for GU B.Ed Entrance exam is as per NCTE norms.
Candidates who are aspiring to appear for the GUBEDCET 2023 they need to acquire BSc / BA / BCom Or MSc / MA / MCom or its equivalent degree with 50% marks (45% marks for SC/ST/OBC/PWD).

Gauhati University B.Ed 2023 Application Form
The university will release the application form for B.Ed entrance exam through online mode only. Therefore, aspirants are advised to visit the Gauhati University website from time to time to get more updates concerning this test.
Candidates are advised first read all the important instructions before filling up the application form. They have to fill all important fields correctly and carefully. The hardcopy of application form will not be received at any circumstances.
Furthermore, candidates can apply for maximum three colleges with a single application form.
Application Fee: Rs.1500 plus Bank Transaction Charge, if any
Candidates have to pay the required application fee by using the SBI bank challan. The required fee will be mentioned on the challan only.
Gauhati University B.Ed 2023 Exam Pattern
The entrance test will be of 400 marks and the duration of exam is two hours. The questions will be asked in the form of MCQ type format with four options in which candidates have to choose the correct option. 1 mark will be deducted for every incorrect answer.

Admit Card
Candidates, who have completed all admission formalities before the given timeline, they will be provided admit card in online mode. After downloading the admit card, it is the utmost responsibility of the candidate to ensure the correctness of information furnished on their admit card. In order to appear in the entrance test, candidates will have to bring their admit card under any circumstances.

The University will prepare merit list of students based on their performance in GUBEDCET 2023. The following norms will be applied in case of two or more students have the similar marks:
- The ratio of positive and negative marks will be evaluated. Candidates with higher absolute value are given preference.
- Then, Candidates who attempted maximum number of questions are given preference.
- Then, candidates older in age are given preferences.
