School Education and Sports Department is the authority that releases Maharashtra FYJC Admission 2022. Through this process, authorities will provide admission into class 11th in Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) in Mumbai, Thane, Raigad districts, Pune, and Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation areas. FYJC Admission Eligibility Criteria 2022

Those candidates who are looking to apply must ensure that they meet the following eligibility criteria.

In house quota

  • Candidates must have passed class 10th or equivalent exam (with same division) with English as a subject of the same management who runs the junior college in online admission area.
  • Under this quota, all Junior Colleges will have 10% seats reserved. If the educational institute has no secondary school of std. X class, they will not have such in house quota.

Management Quota

  • 5% of seats are reserved under this quota in all Junior Colleges.
  • Minority, as well as Non-Minority Junior Colleges, can fill management quota seats or can surrender it at any stage from zero round to the end of this admission process.

FYJC Admission Application Form 2022 

The application process for Maharashtra FYJC Admission 2022 will release in online mode. Before starting the application process, candidates need to purchase Information Booklet from School/ Guidance Centre. Given below are the steps that you may follow in order to apply.

Part – I registration

  • To begin the application process, you need to complete the part I registration.
  • During the part I registration, candidates will have to provide their basic details like Name, Mother’s name, date of birth, category, Reservation Mob. No. Etc.
  • Apart from the details, it is also necessary for you to furnish all documents required for approval.
  • Once the documents are approved, you should take a printout of the same and keep it safe for future references.
  • For those students who won’t get their form approved, such incomplete form will remain “pending” and such forms will not be considered for the online admission process.

Part – II registration

  • The part – II registration will begin only after the declaration of SSC (State Board) result.
  • In this registration, you will have to enter your SSC marks manually.
  • After entering the marks, you need to choose a stream as well as medium of instruction for the admission then a list of concerned Jr. Colleges (Aided/Unaided, Self finance) will be displayed on the screen, then decide the order of your preferences accordingly.
  • A student is allowed to give a minimum of one to maximum of ten preferences.

Merit List and Cut off List 

  • Once the registration process, authorities will release merit lists for admission.
  • There will be four rounds of FYJC online admission.
  • Those who will get their names in the first round need to confirm admission to the allotted college.
  • In case you are not selected in the first round then you will have to wait for the second merit list.

FYJC Admission Procedure 2022

  • The admission process will take place solely on the basis of marks secured by candidates in their class 10th exam.
  • Please note that a college can’t refuse to give admission to a candidate if his/ her name is mentioned in the merit list.
  • However, the admission will be confirmed only after the verification of documents.
  • In case the seat remains vacant after the first round, the second merit of admission will also release.
  • Before every round vacant seat position will be declared on the website, for your information check it and take a decision accordingly.
