About the Vinayaka Mission’s University
The Faculty of Engineering and Technology is one of the Main parts of the Vinayaka Mission’s University. The Vinayaka Mission’s University formerly known as Vinayaka Mission’s Research Foundation is the Higher education Institution located in the Salem of state Tamil Nadu. This University is affiliated from UGC, Ministry of HRD, DEC, AICTE-UGC-DEC JOIN COMMITTEE and NAAC. Due to its higher level Academic Standards and best infrastructure facilities, Vinayaka Mission’s University is the 48th University in India.
This Faculty was established in 1981 with the establishment of ThirumurugaKirupanandaSwamigal (TKVTSS) Medical Education and Charitable Trust. The founder-chairman A. Shanmugasundaram instituted the Vinayaka Mission’s College of Pharmacy in Salem, one of the Pioneer institutions of the Vinayaka Mission’s in 1982. The Faculty is located at Salem, Tamil Nadu. The University provides both rural and urban campus. Annapoorana Engineering College (AEC), established in 2001 is located about 10 km from New Bus Stand at Salem and 2 km off Ariyanur (National Highway NH-47 leading to Covai). KirupanandaVariyar Engineering College is an ISO 9001-2000 certified institution located at Salem.
