The university offers various courses in engineering, management, social sciences etc. the university is also affiliated to British Council. The university also has MOU (Memoranda of Understanding) with 9 other reputed colleges located at different places. The university also forms a reputed research and development centre and many Ph.D. and doctoral programmes are also promoted by the university.
The foundation of the Sri Chandrasekharendra Saraswathi Viswa Mahavidyalaya, Kanchipuram was established with the blessings of their Holiness Pujyasri Jayendra Saraswathi Swamigal and Pujyasri Sankara Vijayendra Saraswati Swamigal. The university attained its ‘deemed’ status in the year 1993. The Sri Chandrasekharendra Saraswathi Viswa Mahavidyalaya, Kanchipuram is located at a place about 4 km away from Kancheepuram which is 76 km away from the city of Chennai. The university has been accredited grade B by NAAC. The university offers various courses in engineering, science and social sciences and many other fields that have been approved by the AICTE. The motto of the university is “Vande Sadgurum Chandrasekharam”.
