About the School of Architecture and Planning, Anna University
The School of Architecture and Planning was established in 1957 as a part of the University of Madras. It was initially offering only undergraduate architecture program and was situated in the Alagappa College of Technology. In 1968, it was separated from the college and shifted to be an independent campus with a new name as SCHOOL OF ARCHITECTURE AND PLANNING. There are two departments working under the school i.e. first one is Architecture Department and the second one is Planning Department.
The College offers a no. of the undergraduate and postgraduate program along with the research programs. It is one of the constituent colleges of Anna University.

For Admission in UG program of School of Architecture and Planning, Anna University, Chennai:
The Admission in the UG program would be done by the common entrance exam hosted by the university. Those candidates, who clear this exam, will become eligible in taking part of the admission round. The marks of the secondary exam will also be counted.
For Admission in PG program of School of Architecture and Planning, Anna University, Chennai:
The Admission would be done on the basis of the entrance test hosted by the university for the candidates who complete their bachelor degree with at least minimum required marks. The test must be cleared for participating in the admission round.
