About the Loyola Institute of Technology
The Loyola Institute of Technology, Chennai also known as LIT, Chennai is a self-financing technical institute which is known to impart quality technical education. Various technical courses such as the B.E. courses, B.tech courses, M.E. courses and other courses in management programmes are offered at the institute in various disciplines. The institute is in the affiliation to the Anna University, Chennai and all the courses offered at the Loyola Institute of Technology have the approval of the All India Council of Technical Education, New Delhi.
The Loyola Institute of Technology, Chennai was established in the year 2003 by the sisters of DMI. The institute is presently managed by them only.
The Loyola Institute of Technology is located at the Palanchur district of Chennai city in the Tamil Nadu state. The institute has recently started projects under the Research and development department.
