Overview:
One of the most prominent colleges of engineering of India i.e. JNTUH College of Engineering, Hyderabad saw its initial days under the name of the Nagarjuna Sagar College but later on termed as JNTU with the formation of Jawaharlal Nehru technical university. It is a public university and one of the leading institutions providing higher technical education in the nation, especially in the Southern India. JNTUH College of Engineering, Hyderabad has ‘A’ grade accreditation by NAAC.
Foundation:
Earlier JNTUH College of Engineering, Hyderabad was known as the Nagarjuna Sagar College in 1965. At that time, it was affiliated to Osmania University. But after the formation of Jawaharlal Nehru technical university in 1972 it became the constituent of the same. E.S.L Narasimhan is the present chancellor of the JNTU College of engineering, Hyderabad.

Admission Procedure:
Admission Procedure at JNTUH College of Engineering
For admission in UG courses, it is mandatory to qualify TS EAMCET examination which is organized by Convener, admissions TS EAMCET.
Admissions will be done on the basis of the GATE or TS PGECET exam and counselling procedure.
Admissions in these courses will be done on the basis of TS ICET exam and counselling.
Admissions to foreign students in the offered courses will be given on the basis of notifications issued by the university and director, admissions DUFR, Hyderabad.

JNTUH College of Engineering Location:
Earlier the college was located at the Masab Tank campus but now the JNTUH College of Engineering, Hyderabad is situated to its permanent campus at Katakpaly, Telangana Hyderabad which is about 20 km away from the heart of the city on the NH – 9 i.e. Bombay national highway. It is built on 100 acres land.
